I still think its ridiculous that you get an email in your email telling you that someone has sent you an email, and when you read it this really all could have been avoided by emailing the person in the first place - but hey... gotta keep with the times!!
Anyways - had a pretty funny week! Had one of my ridiculous laughing fits in an inappropriate place (middle of a tax training session!!) and thanks to being sat between two other highly bored/tired/wigged out giggling gerties...managed to completely loose control of all ability to stop laughing (of course this all had to be done silently) resulting in me shaking and having tears pouring down my face.... which only managed to make the other two laugh more, and just when i'd get it under control, a smirk from one of those two was enough to set me off again (Adelaide chickies - think Moulin Rouge!!). The remaining 45 minutes of training was the longest of my life!!
This was followed by security interupting the partners round table meeting (the MOST important meeting of the year, for those non accountant types out there - where all our promotions and pay rises get decided!!) to tell them that my car was parked inappropriately in our car park and could they please find me and get me to move it asap!! Ooooops!!! Met a security guard straight out of an Adam Sandler movie, who cornered me in the lift (literally put his body on the line and forced the doors to stay open - which repeatedly tried to squish him... oh how i wish they had!!) Thankfully the emergency alarm went off in the lift from him holding the doors open too long while he berrated me for my innappropriate parking, and the doors finally over powered him... I resisted the temptation to wave as the doors finally closed him out of sight!! As if it wasn't enough he grabbed me again on my way out to repeat his tirade.... ok ok i get it....don't park in the loading zone!!!
Sunday, I went with little cousin Callum to see Shrek 3!! As if the movie wasn't funny enough, after arguing with him in the car the whole way to the movies bout wether Puss in Boots would be in Shrek 3 - he was amazed to find I was right.... and then insisted to yell for Puss in boots whenever he wasn't on the screen. We did have several slight reprieves from this...when watching the very quiet and intimate moment as Shrek and Arthur are discussing the deep and troubled problems in their life, in his biggest most urgent voice... "Bev, BEV.... Have to get FIREMAN SAM!!!!!" Yes... that campfire was looking a little dangerous... sadly Fireman Sam was no where to be found. He also spotted the fire escape and made a run for it and after all the excitement decided to pretend to sleep - pretend snoring and all!! All in all - highly entertaining!! (and at least he wasn't actually falling asleep and snoring for real!! Wink wink to the ESV crew!!)
