These boots were made for walking...

Well, clearly all my boots are made for riding and dancing... not walking!!

But a brave group of people from work are tackling the Oxfam Trailwalking Challenge!! As Fleur is one of the brave few... I've been roped in to be part of the support crew along with a few other brave fellows as pictured below...

Yep, that's us as featured on the gang's very own blog (see new link added under blooger brothers!!)

So far they've managed to give themselves a name - "The grasscutters", set up a blog, attend a drinks night, and climb the stairs at work!! Nah - that's not fair... they have actually started training on weekends as well!! But reality is starting to sink in for the poor things!! If you haven't heard of the challenge....

“Oxfam Trailwalker is the world's greatest team challenge. And it's also one of the toughest. The challenge is to get your team of four across 100km of Australian bush in less than 48 hours - and, collectively, to raise at least $5,000 to help to overcome poverty and suffering around the world.” (www.oxfam.org.au)

Anyways - if feeling sorry for them isn't enough to make you want to sponsor them (see link on their blog!!) do it for me.... I'll be helping out as support crew on the weekend of the walk which happens to be my birthday!! Just one dollar for every time the room spins that Saturday night... and they'll be well on their way!!

Yay for the support team! Even if you haven't had to do much yet :-)

Well don't worry, if we have to walk 100km, we'll make it just as hard for you guys! ... somehow...
